RC Update 2.2
Install Instructions:
- Run RC 2.2 Patch. It should be installed on new EE setup (v1.00.2020).
- OR, You can install 2.2 over 2.1 patch, but then please don't uninstall 2.1 - Follow setup instructions
- Select and check option for EE language you want.
- Select the folder where Emprie Earth is installed.
- Finish and Enjoy.
About 2.2 Update:
- RC 2.2 will be the last patch made by RC for GameRanger. After this, no more patches will come from RC.
- It is is not an Anti cheat but just a small update from previous version of RC 2.1, which reverts back some bad changes of RC 2.1.
New Features:
Includes: All the features of previous RC 2.1 with:
- Crossbows cost and build time is increased back to normal.
- Some Aircrafts removed from WWII.
- German Infantry and German Machine Gunner removed from WWI.
- Game Variants Tournament Low, Deathmatch removed. (Because of a problem that custom scenerios use more resources to upgrade ages.)
- New Map Scripts: Nerve Columbus, DeadLand, Everglades 2, Winterland.
- Fix for EE-AOC not running with RC patch.
- Modern Units are reverted back to original EE units. (by Tarms)
- and few more small changes.
Why is F14 still too cheap and overpowered on Islands!?!?!

Why you didnt add some useful buildings like Stationary Rockets or Fence??!?!!?
Why would somebody make crossbows, who are already the strongest unit in mid, cheaper?!!? ( are you kidding me?!)
RC 2.1 fucked up the chat alrady. Now it's fucking up the gamebalance :(

DeleteWhy did you remove tournament low? The patch should be to improve this game not to remove some of the games original features.

if I install this patch I dont get recognized as version 2.2 only 1.2
ReplyDeleteIf I install 2.1 then the version changes corectly and If I install 2.2 after it recognizes as 2.2 but ruins my AOC game
If you will install 2.2 over 2.1 AOC may have some problem.
DeleteMany people install EE and AOC together and both work fine for them.
I recommend you to install original EE setup, AOC and then RC 2.2. (& dont touch 2.1)
OR
You can even now, try to run RC 2.2 setup (or uninstallation) and select "Repair". See if it works.
it crashes in Game options in AOC. if i click repair it starts sayin I need the original EE game.

There is a "Version_Fix" file in the game folder. Run it. It will be back to normal version then.
DeleteThis happens when you have more than 1 EE games installed on your computer. Just have 1 EE game installed and it will not give you this error again.
the game doesnt run properly on my windows 8.1 laptop. i run it in compatibility mode and the graphics keep glitching and i keep seeing gray spots and flashes and the game crashes. Im using an MSI GS70 17.3 in
ReplyDeleteThis problem to EE happens with windows 8.1 only. Its not due to the patch.
DeleteTry uninstalling all your graphics card drivers & software. It has helped most people to run EE fine after that.

ReplyDeleteI can respond to all your questions by telling you that rc patches dont touch the existing microsoft game data but they are just adding texture packs and they are changing some features. They have nothing to do with the gameplay, which is untouched and vanilla.
PS you are a fucking noob, every unit can be countered by another, its a strategy game stop whining like a little bitch about "unbalanced" units. The game is perfectly balanced by microsoft.
I would like make a SERIOUS request about RC patch 2.2 which is bothering the entire EE community.
We need a new RC patch 2.3 with the following features to be added:
- Option for BOT replacement of leavers (at the difficulty set in the lobby) Many leavers ruin the game and the fun of others by Alt+F4 while ingame.
- When playing saved games at multiplayer and you have less human players that the saved game requires, it doesnt let you start. Please disable it, 7 people cant play an 8 player saved game all because of the 1 missing. (Maybe you can make a bot option here too)
- Disable the waiting for players... message for 1 minute and make it 5 seconds. If there is a game with 8 players (4v4) and 3 of each team leave (cause they are cry babies little bitches) with an Alt+f4 ragequit, the remaining 2 players (1v1) will have to wait 6 minutes for the game to continue. (but noone waits that long and everyone leaves alt+f4 and all the fun is ruined)
This patch doesnt work with AOC, it causes AOC to crash at launch. 2.1 does not do this

Artillery, Ballista, Trebuchets are totally overpowered. Im not even gonna justify. if u dont get it u dumb period.
Anti-air weapons are way, waaaaaaaaaaay too weak. Once u get ur Bombers speed fully upgraded, ur bombers are completely unstoppable.
AA towers need higher range and attack or rate of fire, Flak Track also need more range and attack, and anti air ships also + range and attack.
And planes have too little fuel, its annoying. Every plane needs at least 50+, and Anti tank planes are also useless, they need +6 range and more attack
